Overview

Are you a practical worker with great attention to detail and a flair for colour and design? Apply your hands-on creativity to both indoor and outdoor areas with TAFE NSW's Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling. This course is perfect for apprentices working in the building industry. You will learn how to design and construct bathrooms and other tiled environments in a range of locations, including residential homes, commercial fit outs and industrial areas. Course electives cover waterproofing, tile types, tile glues, tiling patterns and cement mortars and allow you to develop specialist layout skills across a range of horizontal, vertical, curved sloped and twisted surfaces. You can also learn to work safely from heights and to effectively tile domestic pools and spas for ongoing employment in this growing industry.

Entry Requirements

There are no entry requirements for this qualification.

Before enrolling in this course you must successfully complete the WHS Induction Training (White Card) which will allow you entry into a construction worksite.
