Overview

Are you seeking technical skills for a role as an advanced process plant operator in the chemical, hydrocarbons or refining industry? TAFE NSW's Certificate III in Process Plant Operations will teach you skills in the control, monitoring and maintenance of machines and equipment used to produce, refine and pump industry product. You can choose from a large variety of technical and support electives such as the operation of production units, distillation units, compressors, furnaces and reactors, as well as the organisation of storage and logistics of general materials.

Electives also include the ability to identify equipment faults, develop and adjust a production schedule, and assess and secure an incident site. Enjoy a role in advanced operations, working with integrated plant units, and using your knowledge and skills to anticipate and solve process problems.
