Overview

Are you interested in working in the electronic trades industry? Study this nationally recognised Certificate II in Electronics and get your foot in the door. There is a variety of units to consider including assembling electronic components, conducting quality tests, fixing and securing electrotechnology equipment. This electronics course will provide competencies to select, assemble, set up and maintain electronic devices following prescribed routines.

Potential roles are electrical trade's assistant, electronics operator, remote area service operator and armature winder. Depending on your location, you can study on campus or flexible delivery, which means you can study via correspondence, online or work based. Cert II in Electronics give you the opportunity to apply for Smart and Skilled and Traineeships.

Entry Requirements

There are no entry requirements for this qualification.

However, the Electrotechnology Training Package recommends typical language,
literacy and numeracy skill levels needed to successfully complete each
Competency Standard Unit undertaken within this qualification.

Learners should either be in relevant employment or have access to appropriate
simulated workplace environments to achieve the completion requirements of this
course.
