As cyber crime becomes more sophisticated, Cyber Security continues to boom as an Industry. Extensive experience in the VoIP industry as a Network Operations Manager has led Jocelyn to develop exceptional skills and knowledge in Computer Networking and Security. This expertise has proven to be an asset for Jocelyn in her role as an IT Teacher with TAFE NSW for over 13 years.
Jocelyn is an experienced academic who holds a BSc (Architecture) from University of Sydney and also a Diploma of Networking from TAFE NSW. She is an ITE/CCNA/CCNA Security Certified instructor and has extensive experience in the areas of Information Security, Cyber Security, Security Protocols and Hardware Security.
Jocelyn’s passion for computing and finding ways to improve student learning ensures that her teaching is relevant to students. Research interests include system security, sandboxing, usable security and privacy, digital currencies and the methods and effects of free culture and open source software development.
