Darren Friend is a man on a mission. An excellent mission to give a helping hand of hope to homeless youth in Sydney Inner West. Mr Friend studied a Certificate IV in Youth Work with TAFE Digital to add to his more than 20 years’ martial arts experience, with the burning desire to put a tiny dent into helping the staggering 43,552 homeless youth across Australia.

Marinsa Vlok, who completed a double Diploma of Leadership and Management, and Marketing and Communication with TAFE Digital is now working as a business development and marketing consultant at Dentons Law Firm in Sydney.

St Ives resident, Emily Southey, made the courageous decision to literally put in the hard yards while studying an Advanced Diploma in Agribusiness Management online with TAFE NSW. Add to this working full-time to establish a successful stable hand business called Southey and Co and mentoring other students - all by the young age of 20. Ms Southey is now studying a Bachelor of Community Services with TAFE Digital.
