TAFE NSW prepares students for essential mental health jobs
With NSW recording a surge in demand for counselling support services during a pandemic that has affected up to 300,000 jobsi, CEO of Lifeline Central West is encouraging locals to upskill to help with the shortage of skilled workers during National Mental Health month.

Chlor Jones started her journey by studying a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care at TAFE NSW Wilcannia. After completing her work placement she was offered a maternity relief role as the Aboriginal Education Officer at Barlu Kurli Preschool.
