Daniel Carpentier was named the 2019 NSW International Student of the Year (ELICOS) and Gustavo Martins received the 2019 International Student of the Year (VET). The annual awards were presented by the Governor of New South Wales, Honourable Margaret Beasley AO QC at a ceremony held at Government House. Both students chose to study in regional NSW. TAFE NSW Coffs Harbour student Taeko Iizuka has been recognised for her academic achievement and positive work ethic at the TAFE NSW Excellence Awards in Kurri Kurri.

Mr Martins, who completed a Certificate IV in Permaculture at TAFE NSW National Environment Centre (NEC) in 2018, was announced as International Student of the Year and Agribusiness Student of the Year at the gala awards ceremony at Albury’s Hovell Tree Inn.

This new IT course will give students the skills to build data systems, architecture and platforms to support big data solutions in the fast evolving field of business and commerce.  Direct entry applicants who meet academic and English (Academic IELTS 6.5 with no band score lower than 6.0 or TOEFL (iBT) 79) requirements are encouraged to apply. 

Kennedy Jackson has been awarded the NSW International Student of the Year - Vocational Education and Training (VET) award at the recent NSW International Student Awards in Sydney. UK-born Kennedy is currently undertaking a Diploma of Beauty Therapy at TAFE NSW Ultimo. She makes a lasting impact on the lives of many through her volunteer work.
