This course is for people who are working as restricted demolition
The course satisfies conditions under the Work Health Safety Act 2011 (WHS
Graduates can articulate into the Course in Demolition Supervision
There are no formal educational requirements for this course however, before
enrolling in this course you must successfully complete the OHS Induction
Training (White Card) which will allow you entry into a construction
WorkCover, CFMEU and the Demolition Industry have specified that a candidate
requires experience in the construction or demolition industry before gaining
entry into the course. A candidate needs to produce a letter from an employer,
CFMEU or provide a statutory declaration verifying three years construction and
/or demolition industry experience.
The course structure below shows what you must do to complete this course.
units/modules are arranged in groups and sometimes also in subgroups.
You must complete each group as specified as well as following the course
completion instructions. If a course contains optional groups there will
statement at the top of the course indicating how many you must do. At the
top of any group containing optional subgroups there will be a statement
saying how many you must do.
Students must complete the three units in Group 1.
Group 400 is an enrichment group containing unit(s) relating to
participating in sustainable work practices. This group does not count
towards course completion.
