Module/Unit Purpose

This unit of competency covers the process of erecting timber structures and features as a component of landscape project works and defines the standard required to: mark out the site for the structure according to design drawings and specifications establish the levels and prepare footings where required use a wide range of power tools efficiently and safely fix, join or assemble timbers using a variety of recognised methods apply a variety of surface finishes ensure the completed structure or feature meets the quality standard in the specifications
