Module/Unit Purpose

This unit covers the competence to carry out repairs to vehicle/equipment electrical systems, including accessories, wipers, electric windows, lighting, turning indicators, hazard lights, door locks and fan blowers. The unit includes identification and confirmation of work requirement, preparation for work, testing of systems and identification of faults/causes, repair and retesting of electrical systems and completion of work finalisation processes, including clean-up and documentation.
