This course is for persons who wish to gain a command of wide-ranging technical, creative and conceptual skills and knowledge in visual communication, needed to develop innovative graphic design solutions at an advanced level. These skills will allow you to conceive, negotiate and realise design concepts for complex projects using sophisticated communication, organisational and project management skills. Classes are small with plenty of individual mentoring from our expert educational staff. This course is tailored to industry needs and provides opportunities to:

COURSE STRUCTURE AND UNITS
To receive the Advanced Diploma of Graphic Design students must complete all core units and, if available, a range of additional units.
Note: Additional units contain compulsory and elective units which may vary between each semester and campus, and will depend on a number of considerations including the packaging rules for the qualification and demand for the unit.CORE UNITS ADDITIONAL UNITS

Course fees and duration can vary based on the Institute you want to study at, the entry requirements for the course, and the year you will begin study.
Additional costs for uniforms, equipment, textbooks and materials (if applicable) range from A$300 - $1,000 per course.
A career in graphic design offers a variety of opportunity across a range of specialisations including digital and print applications, branding and identity, advertising and promotion, art direction and studio management, packaging and environmental design. Graphic designers work in many different environments including design studios, advertising agencies, in-house, broadcast and web production houses, design collectives and freelance.
TAFE NSW allows for two or more courses to be packaged together, either to meet the prerequisite requirements for a course or to plan your studies around your career goals. You can submit a single TAFE NSW application form and will be able to apply for one Student Visa for the full duration of the package.
