This course is for people who want to acquire knowledge and skills to pursue employment with specialised, technical or managerial competencies, in order to plan, carry out and evaluate your work or the work of a team in the film, television, radio and digital media industries.

Job roles and titles vary across different industry sectors. Possible job titles relevant to this qualification include animation/visual effects designer, television producer, radio producer, television presenter, radio presenter, production manager for radio or television.

  • Year 10 or equivalent
  • At Kingswood College it is recommended applicants have completed the Certificate III in Screen and Media (31015)
  • Academic IELTS 5.5 or TOEFL (iBT) 46 or TAFE NSW General English Program

    COURSE STRUCTURE AND UNITS

    To receive this course students must complete all core units and, if available, a range of additional units.

    Note: Additional units contain compulsory and elective units which may vary between each semester and campus, and will depend on a number of considerations including the packaging rules for the qualification and demand for the unit.

    • 3 core units plus 12 elective units of which:
    • 10 units must be selected from the electives listed below
    • 2 units may be selected from the remaining listed electives or any currently endorsed training package qualification or accredited course at Certificate IV, Diploma or Advanced level.
    • Elective units must be relevant to the work environment and the qualification maintain the integrity of the AQF alignment and contribute to a valid vocational outcome.
