Study with TAFE NSW
I first enrolled at TAFE NSW Taree in 2013, after qualifying for a scholarship, studying Accounting the course was hard at first but then the teacher really helped me. I got nominated for international student of the year thereafter.
The student experience
I’ve studied accounting and business courses and am currently studying a Diploma in Tourism and Travel at Kingscliff. TAFE NSW has been amazing to me, the teachers are very friendly and supportive, the career counselling has helped me a lot in order to figure out what’s the best way to study and still be able to work. The community is also very supportive of international students.
The facilities are all up to date with a new library and layout, new computers and equipment, student materials always provided on time and public transport that’s is very accessible.
An international perspective
For an international student like me, TAFE NSW is everything you’d wish for, you never feel alone, they’ll do whatever they can to make you feel at home, it’s worth it, I’d encourage any student who wants a pathway to university to start from TAFE NSW.

The high reputation of the teachers provided by TAFE NSW is amazing, they are friendly and will always help any student who needs it. The various courses they offer state wide are also of high quality, with career counselling also in campus, you can never go wrong.
