Study with TAFE NSW
Through recommendation, counselling in some workshops organized by IDP Vietnam and researching in the internet, I knew that the TAFE NSW program is very practical and realistic, the school uses all the latest technology, modern facilities and interactive approach to apply in training. Moreover, TAFE NSW is well known for Digital Media especially Animation which is my most concern, the product of TAFE NSW’s students is so vivid and beautiful that I love it.
The student experience
Both campuses are really great. The Enmore Design Centre, brings me a lot of emotional memories. I had been at Enmore campus for 4 years and during my study, I had received support from the international department and the Student Association at Enmore. Especially all the teachers were very knowledgeable and enthusiastic in terms of helping students, and (helping) international students like me to absorb the lesson easily.
I loved my classroom very much which is high standard of computer with up to date software. I can use computer in the class anytime as I want and teacher was always there to help as I need. Library was also my favourite place with full of useful books and student was always welcomed by amazing staff.
An international perspective
I would like to say I enjoyed every single lesson very much. The number of students in class was not too big, so students all went along with each other and teacher also had enough time for each student. Teachers always inspired student to ask questions. The course structure was very clear, it helped student organise their time in order to handle assessments without stress.
To me I think TAFE NSW has a great environment for international students to study. I had friends from India, China and Philippine, so I didn't have the feeling of loneliness. Besides that, the student association had a lot of activities every week to connect students. There is an English group to help student improve their English skills and make new friends while studying at TAFE NSW. Studying at TAFE NSW was a right decision that I have made.
Be job ready
I studied 3D Art and Animation which totally related to my future career. I love children and want to do something that help kids can learn new things by watching video like ChuChu TV which 3D Art and Animation provides me skills to do it.
