I chose to study at TAFE NSW due to the content of their Bachelor of IT degree course, their accreditation to Cisco Academy and their high reputation with employers. TAFE NSW Meadowbank is equipped with up-to-date facilities and equipment and offers practical industry-based learning and ongoing opportunities for networking and creativity.

I was able to form strong relationships and study groups in which I could share my ideas, skills, knowledge, and experience. The teachers’ encouragement, support and sharing of knowledge and experiences has helped me get a deeper understanding of the industry requirements and career direction.
With my teachers’ encouragement and support, my participation in the AWS WorldSkills 2020 competition has expanded my experience with security in the cloud and effective management of AWS core services for business environments.

The environment has been friendly and supportive which has allowed me to explore, learn, research, network and develop with impressive support from the Higher Education and International student services.
Be job ready
The teaching methods and the course content is aligned with industry requirements as well as security frameworks and best practice which supports my career aspirations.
And due to my industry connections through TAFE NSW, I was recommended for a position as the Cyber Security Escape Room Trainer at Cyber Distribution for the Asia Pacific region. With my current knowledge and experience I was able to take this on with great enthusiasm and confidence.
