The teachers at TAFE English Learning Centre are fantastic. All of them are excellent at what they do. One of my favourite teachers always encouraged me, she would always help me overcome any challenges while continuously supporting me. She kept telling me how proud she was of my progress and this motivated me to work even harder. The best tip my teachers gave me was that I shouldn't worry about making mistakes because English is my second language, and they would be there to support me with everything I needed to improve my skills.

Due to this, my English has improved a lot. I grew to love English and I enjoyed all my classes to the fullest. It has instilled a lot of confidence in me.
An international perspective
I was able to learn more about my friends and learn about their countries and cities where my friends live by having a daily conversation. Now, I have a lot of friends from various countries. Thanks to TELC, I can see them and teachers give us opportunities to speak to each other online. It gives me a good chance to learn about other countries and other languages. It made my school life richer and more fun.
Be job ready
When I started learning at the TAFE English Learning Centre, my future dream was unclear. I thought I wanted to work in the film industry, but I didn’t know exactly what I want to do. As I studied, I had a lot of opportunities through assignments and presentations, and it led me to find my future. Now, I want to work as a makeup artist and as a coordinator in the film industry.
The TAFE English Learning Centre has given me invaluable experiences and equipped me with the skills I need for my future.
