TAFE NSW provided an induction and the necessary information prior to the start of my studies. Moreover, TAFE NSW continually support us, by sending emails that provides the links for necessary support. We’ve already been given the timeline and the topics that we will be discussing for the whole term. Topics included are all very much job relevant, and I am excited to learn those. The facilities absolutely fit the topics and training needed to be learned and then performed.
The student experience
The Primary Industries Centre in Wagga Wagga is strategically located within the regional area, as it provides an optimal environment for training in the field of agriculture. And for almost three years now, my family has enjoyed a well-balanced kind of lifestyle here in Wagga Wagga. Wagga Wagga caters extremely well to education and training, getting work experience, staying healthy in body and in mind, in a clean and safe environment with a friendly community. Coming from a tropical country with a more than sufficient amount of rain, I became very interested in how a very dry country such as Australia, managed to produce optimum yields of agricultural crops, despite limited water resources.

The teachers have an effective teaching method and style, as it is a balance of classroom and field work. Moreover, they are very supportive with the learning and welfare of their students. This will help me to be more focused, enjoy, and maximise my studies. Moreover, I will be able to maximise opportunities to join seminars, training, volunteer work, and others.
