TAFE NSW Kurri Kurri was established in 1982 near Hunter Valley Wine Country. Set on 135 hectares of park and native bushland the campus comprises of the beautiful Kurri Sand Swamp Woodland.

There is a strong focus on sustainable development, building design and energy and water management and the campus is home to the award winning ‘Intuition’ range of wines, produced on-site by our viticulture students.

Award winning wines and 1.5 hectare vineyard

For over 20 years, TAFE NSW Kurri Kurri’s teaching winery and 1.5 hectare vineyard has been the learning hub for viticulture students. The boutique winery is equipped with state of the art technology and operates with sustainable practices, including passive solar design and an energy efficient barrel room.  

Intuition wines are available to purchase and are produced on-site by teachers and students. The award winning wines have received multiple gold, silver and bronze awards at local wine shows over the years.
