Ross enhances learning experiences at TAFE NSW Glen Innes

TAFE NSW has further strengthened its commitment to students in the Glen Innes region, with highly-skilled Education Support Officer Ross Mathieson having a positive impact on students studying at the state-of-the-art Connected Learning Centre (CLC).

Ross possesses more than a decade of teaching experience at TAFE NSW, and the range of language, numeracy, literacy and information technology support he is providing students is ensuring a better and more successful learning experience for Glen Innes students.

Ross said, “I am passionate about quality education and I’m excited to be able to help Glen Innes students throughout their learning journey with TAFE NSW, offering them one-on-one language, numeracy and literacy support to complete their course.

“I take great pride in helping the students, building a good rapport with them and most importantly, making sure they feel part of the TAFE NSW community and that they’re successful in their studies.”

Ross said that 2020 promises to be an exciting year at the TAFE NSW Connected Learning Centre in Glen Innes, with a range of life-changing courses now open for enrolment for semester one.

“The local community has access to a range of hands-on courses right here in Glen Innes that will equip students with the practical skills and work experience that they need to pursue employment opportunities."

Some of the courses include the Certificate III and IV in Community Services, Certificate II and III in Information, Digital Media and Technology, Certificate III in Community Services, Certificate II and III in Business, and many more.
