TAFE talks with Tracey

It’s been a successful week for the team at TAFE NSW Grenfell, with our local InfoFest activities proving a hit!

Members of the Grenfell community toured the state-of-the-art Connected Learning Centre (CLC), talked to teachers and participated in more than 25 practical course demonstrations, including Aged Care, Hospitality, Sales and Retail and Information Technology – just to name a few of the course areas on offer for Semester 2.

For anyone who missed InfoFest, don’t worry – there’s still time to enrol! The CLC on Melyra Street is open five days a week and everyone is welcome to pop in for a tour of our new facilities or a friendly chat about TAFE NSW courses.

Speaking of success, it was great to catch up with one of our successful graduates in her workplace this week. Monique Breed completed a Certificate II Community Pharmacy at the Grenfell CLC and is now working at Grenfell Pharmacy.

Monique said, “I definitely loved learning at the new CLC, it is very convenient. I would encourage others to learn at TAFE NSW because the facilities are fantastic, the staff and teachers are very friendly and helpful, and the skills you learn can certainly lead to employment.”

It’s fantastic to see how the training TAFE NSW is providing is changing lives! If you would like to explore the range of exciting semester two courses that are available right here in Grenfell, please visit www.tafensw.edu.au.
