How to use the Redirect Portlet

For the Page you wish to redirect from (say /oldPage).

1. Add the Redirect Portlet to the Page.
2. In the Page's custom field, make sure there is a text field with the key permanent_redirect .
3. In that custom field enter the URL you wish to be redirected to. Say "https://www.newsite.com/newPage"
4. Now all request to /oldPage will be redirected to the URL https://www.newsite.com/newPage.
