Course Details

This course is intended to provide participants with the following general education outcomes:
- develop preliminary employability skills and knowledge at AQF level 1
- identify realistic education, employment or community engagement goals and appropriate training pathways
- participate in a formal, supported learning environment.
There are no essential entry requirements for this course.
This course is for people who want to improve their computing, reading, writing, numeracy and employability skills for work, further study or for engagement in the commmunity.
Students may attend the campus up to 11 hours per week for 18 weeks and may complete the course in a shorter time-frame. Days and times are flexible.

This course has up to 11 hours available of study on Monday and Thursday. The face-to face computer class on Monday mornings is compulsory, other hours may be attended flexibly.

Depending on your previous qualifications and experience your fee may decrease from the maximum shown.
Payment by instalment may also be available. Your fee and eligibility for concession/exemption will be calculated and confirmed during the enrolment process.

SMART AND SKILLED FEES

This course is government-subsidised, meaning you pay a portion of the full course fee to TAFE NSW and the government will pay the balance. However, you must meet certain eligibility criteria for this to apply.
