Course Details

This course is intended to provide participants with the following general education outcomes:

* develop employability skills and knowledge at AQF level 1 to retrain or enter the workforce
* identify realistic education, employment or community engagement goals and appropriate training pathways, including pre-vocational pathways
* participate in a formal, supported or self-managed learning environment
There are no essential educational requirements for this course.
This course is for people who want to improve their computing, reading, writing, numeracy and employability skills for work, further study or for engagement in the commmunity.
The course involves self-paced flexible study on or off campus (negotiated with the Head Teacher). Students may attend the campus for up to 11 hours per week for 18 weeks and may complete the course in a shorter time-frame.
Days and times are flexible. Enrolments are accepted throughout the year.

This course has fup to 11 hours of study available on Monday and Thursday. The face-to-face computer class on Monday mornings is compulsory, other hours may be attended flexibly.
