Course Details

This course is intended to provide participants with the following general education outcomes:

* develop employability skills and knowledge at AQF level 1 to retrain or enter the workforce
* identify realistic education, employment or community engagement goals and appropriate training pathways, including pre-vocational pathways
* participate in a formal, supported or self-managed learning environment
There are no essential educational requirements for this course.
INFORMATION SESSION

This computing and career planning course is for mature aged adults who have experienced barriers engaging in vocational educational training, employment and/or in the community and who want to build confidence and skills for employment.

You will need to attend approximately 5.5 hours of class a week over 1 day. An indication of how your weekly timetable may look is: Tuesday 9:30am to 3:30pm.

Depending on your previous qualifications and experience your fee may decrease from the maximum shown.
Payment by instalment may also be available. Your fee and eligibility for concession/exemption will be calculated and confirmed during the enrolment process.

SMART AND SKILLED FEES

This course is government-subsidised, meaning you pay a portion of the full course fee to TAFE NSW and the government will pay the balance. However, you must meet certain eligibility criteria for this to apply.
