Course Details

This course is intended to provide participants with the following general education outcomes:

* develop employability skills and knowledge at AQF level 1 to retrain or enter the workforce
* identify realistic education, employment or community engagement goals and appropriate training pathways, including pre-vocational pathways
* participate in a formal, supported or self-managed learning environment
There are no essential educational requirements for this course.
A message for young people under 17 years of age - If you are under 17 years and wish to enrol you will need to have completed Year 10 or have special permission from school and TAFE NSW to do so.
Classes are currently scheduled to run on Monday and Wednesday, 9.00am to 2.30pm. Additionally students are required to undertake 3 to 7 hours per week of unpresribed learning in the Adult Study Centre.

Depending on your previous qualifications and experience your fee may decrease from the maximum shown.
Payment by instalment may also be available. Your fee and eligibility for concession/exemption will be calculated and confirmed during the enrolment process.

This training is fully subsidised by the NSW government for eligible students. Please check eligibility requirements below.

You are eligible if you:
- Are aged 15 years or older
- Have left school
- Live or work in New South Wales
- Are an Australian citizen, permanent resident, humanitarian visa holder or New Zealand citizen.

When your enrolment is complete, you will be entitled to attend class, participate in training, sit for examinations, receive educational awards, use amenities and services and receive an active TAFEcard (which provides access to library resources).

There may be some charges to cover the costs of undertaking this training.

Costs associated with work experience and field trips such as food, transport and accommodation are at the students? own expense.
