The Certificate I in Access to Work Training is a nationally accredited course that will introduce you to formal education. You will build your confidence in a supportive environment, gain learning skills and set goals for further study or your future career.

GROW YOUR CAREER
Develop you knowledge further with the Certificate II in Study Skills.
Employers in Australia require their workers to have good reading and writing skills, as well as basic technology skills. This course will allow you to gain these foundational skills, and become employable across multiple industries while feeling supported and confident in your abilities.
There are no information sessions currently scheduled for this course.
This is a Part-Time Day Face to Face course. You will need to attend approximately 4.5 hours of class 1 day a week, for 18 weeks. As well as the in-class component, you will need to complete approximately 1 hours of other study per week.
You may also be required to complete approximately 14 hours of additional study each week outside of class hours, including assignment preparation and private study.

This course targets individuals seeking work or wanting to improve their literacy and numeracy skills to improve their employment opportunities. The course also targets workers lacking basic computer skills. The course provides contextualised entry level employability skills for identified industries.

SMART AND SKILLED FEES
This course is government-subsidised, meaning you pay a portion of the full course fee to TAFE NSW and the NSW Government will pay the balance. However, you must meet certain eligibility criteria for this to apply.
Depending on your previous qualifications and experience, your fee may be less than the maximum fee quoted. Your actual fee and eligibility for concession/exemption will be calculated and confirmed during the enrolment process. Payment plans are available through TAFE NSW for Smart and Skilled eligible qualifications.
