IS THIS COURSE RIGHT FOR YOU?
This course offering is designed for people who do not have fundamental English competence for everyday life, employment and further study needs. Such learners may be ineligible for Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP) courses, and/or may have completed all or part of the relevant AMEP course but have either lost competencies or not acquired full competencies. These learners do not have the English language levels to gain and maintain employment where English is the language of the workplace nor do they have the level of English required for undertaking further study to upgrade skills. The course offers a pathway for such learners to go onto higher level English language acquisition courses, or into suitable employment.
