STUDY COMMITMENT

This is a Part Time Evening course. You will need to attend approximately 3 hours of class, over 1 evening a week, for 36 weeks. As well as the in-class component, you will need to complete approximately 2.5 hours of other study per week.

You may also be required to complete approximately 10 hours of additional study each week outside of class hours including private study, research, preparation, practice, online and reading activities.


This course is offered through connected learning. Connected learning is an education delivery model where a teacher leads a virtual classroom that can be accessed by students in different geographic locations.

This is just like a regular classroom, but teachers and students use the latest web conferencing technologies to connect. This provides you with access to more courses without leaving your local community. You will also build a wide professional network by studying alongside students in different locations and strengthen your digital literacy skills which are increasingly important in the modern workplace.

Connected Learning Centres are custom designed to utilise modern technologies, simulations and virtual reality experiences to offer you a wider range of choices, more accessible, practical training and flexible learning opportunities.

The way you learn may change during your enrolment to ensure the best learning experience or to keep you safe as COVID-19 restrictions change, and some of our face to face classes may change to online or virtual classroom learning. If work placement and the demonstration of practical skills are requirements of your course, there may be a modification or delay in the planned timeframe due to COVID-19 impacts. This course is currently scheduled at TAFE NSW Scone, Connected Learning Centre, on Wednesday, from 5.00pm to 8.00pm. This timetable may change and will be confirmed by your teacher.

This is a fully government-subsidised JobTrainer course. Eligibility criteria applies.

SMART AND SKILLED FEES

This course is government-subsidised, meaning you pay a portion of the full course fee to TAFE NSW and the NSW Government will pay the balance. However, you must meet certain eligibility criteria for this to apply.

Depending on your previous qualifications and experience, your fee may be less than the maximum fee quoted. Your actual fee and eligibility for concession/exemption will be calculated and confirmed during the enrolment process. Payment plans are available through TAFE NSW for Smart and Skilled eligible qualifications.

FULLY GOVERNMENT SUBSIDISED

This course is fully government-subsidised for eligible students, meaning you will not have to pay any course fees. It is part of a program to help people develop the skills they need to get a job, undertake entry level qualifications or transition to a new job.

If you are not eligible for subsidised training, you can still choose to enrol in the course but will need to pay the full (non-subsidised) fee.
