Course Details

This course is intended to provide participants with the following general education outcomes:

- English language proficiency of Level 2 on the ISLPRĀ® scale.

- English language proficiency to undertake qualifications requiring proficiency of ISLPRĀ® 2, IELTS 4.5 or CEFR B1 on entry, which provide a pathway to access employment, training and community participation.
A minimum English language proficiency of ISLPRA 1+, IELTS 4 or CEFR A2+ across all levels of Speaking, Reading, Listening and Writing.
Teacher assessment required prior to enrolment finalisation. This is to ensure that applicants have the underpinning knowledge and skills to enable them a successful course completion.
The recommended entry point against the ISLPR? scale is 1+ across the four macro skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing.
Monday, Tuesday from 9 am to 3 pm, with Thursday finishing at 2:30 pm, 16 hours per week for 18 weeks (one semester). Learners are also expected to complete learning activities outside of classtime. (subject to changes)

Depending on your previous qualifications and experience your fee may decrease from the maximum shown.
Payment by instalment may also be available. Your fee and eligibility for concession/exemption will be calculated and confirmed during the enrolment process.
