Hunter TAFE offers this marine engineering training for Engineer Officers who require Part A and Part C of the Full Revalidation for Engineer Officers.

This course provides Part A and Part C of the Full Revalidation for Engineer Officers. Per AMSA Marine Orders this course will also include STCW, Lifeboat, and Advanced Fire Fighting. Please let us know if you already hold any of these as you may be entitled to recognition of prior learning and a possible fee adjustment. For further information refer to AMSA form MT09 - AMSA467 found on the AMSA website.A pre-requisite of this course is having attended Security Awareness Training. Students are required to wear enclosed shoes and appropriate clothing.

Classes are currently scheduled to run on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm.
In addition to your course fee, there may be some additional charges to cover the costs of undertaking this training. Costs associated with work experience and field trips such as food, transport and accommodation are at the students? own expense.
