Course Details

This course is for students requiring foundation skills to achieve vocational competency in an industry training package qualification.

Students must be co-enrolled in an industry training package qualification.

IS THIS COURSE RIGHT FOR YOU?

This short course contains the Maths units of competency required for general entry to the Australian Defence Forces.

Successful completion of 900-10591EV01 Statement of Attaniment in Defence Preparation English and 900-10591MV01 Statement of Attainment in Defence Preparation Maths, satisfies the academic entry requirements for general entry to ADF.

STUDY COMMITMENT

This is a part time face to face course. You will need to attend approximately 4 hours of class, over 1 day a week, for 18 weeks. As well as the in-class component, there is 1 hour of other study per week.

You may also be required to complete approximately 8 hours of additional study each week outside of class hours, including completeing course work, preparation for and completion of assessments.

This course is currently scheduled on Thursdays from 3.30am to 6.30pm. This timetable may change and will be confirmed by your teacher.

You may be eligible for a concession and/or exemption. This will be confirmed during the enrolment process.

This training is subsidised by the CSO Funding. Students must meet certain criteria to be eligible to enrol in this course.

Students who meet additional specified criteria, may be eligible for a concession fee or a fee exemption. In claiming the concession or exemption students will be required to supply the required evidence to support the claim in accord with the requirements of Smart and Skilled eligibility.

Payment Plans are available through TAFE NSW for Smart and Skilled eligible qualifications.

To activate your eligibility you must pay the student fee component PRIOR to commencement of the learning activity.
