Course Details
This short course contains the English units of competency required for general entry to the Australian Defence Forces.
Successful completion of 900-10591EV01 Statement of Attainment in Defence Preparation English and 900-10591MV01 Statement of Attainment in Defence Preparation Maths, satisfies the academic entry requirements for general entry to ADF.
Additional completion of 900-10591SV01 Statement of Attainment in Defence Preparation Science is required for ADF trades entry.

There are no entry requirements for this course.To successfully complete this course, you will need:
- to have pre-existing language, literacy and numeracy skills to an ACSF level 2 to 3 ? sufficient to read and interpret basic documents and prepare written reports.
- Participation in an interview and completion of literacy and numeracy screening tasks before enrolment.

STUDY COMMITMENT
This is a part-time day, face to face course. You will need to attend approximately 4 hours of class, over 1 day a week, for 18 weeks. As well as the in-class component, you will need to complete approximately 1 hour of other study per week.
You may also be required to complete approximately 2 hours of additional study each week outside of class hours, including assignment preparation, research, revision of class work
