The TAFE Statement in NSW Liquor Licensee Course (Advanced) is a mandatory training course for licensees who manage a liquor licence identified in the high- risk category. There is a focus on liquor laws and legislation, embedding a culture of compliance and developing your leadership skills.

- Diploma of Hospitality Management
- Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management
The hospitality industry has been steadily growing over the past five years at around 1.9%. This growth can be attributed to the burgeoning foodie culture, population growth and an increase in consumer demand. Employment in the industry is set to increase by 12.1% in the next five years, which means an additional 91,000 jobs.
This is a part time, face to face course. You will need to attend approximately 6 hours of class.
IS THIS COURSE RIGHT FOR YOU?
The Advanced Licensee course is additional training to the Licensee Training for owners, managers or supervisors who require a NSW liquor licence for a venue deemed by Liquor & Gaming NSW to be higher risk.
Typically, this involves pubs, bars, clubs, hotels, nightclubs and other venues that serve liquor regularly after midnight. Please check the Liquor & Gaming NSW website for further information.

To keep you safe while studying, some of our face to face classes may be replaced with online or connected learning. We have also modified our face to face classes to meet physical distancing requirements and increased cleaning on campus. As restrictions ease, the way you attend your class may change again. If work placement and the demonstration of practical skills are requirements of your course, due to the impacts of COVID 19 there may be a delay or modification in being able to undertake these aspects of your course in the planned timeframe. Be assured, we'll keep you informed every step of the way.
This course is currently scheduled on Tuesday from 9.00am to 3.30pm. This timetable may change and will be confirmed by your teacher.
This training is not subsidised by Government funding. There are no fee exemptions, concessions or subsidies available for this course.
Payment of course fee must be made PRIOR to commencement of learning activity.
The course fee includes the Liquor & Gaming Competency Card.
