The Statement of Attainment in Licence to Operate a Forklift Truck provides you with the knowledge to sit a High Risk Work Licence (HRWL) assessment and the skills to efficiently operate a forklift truck in your workplace.
This is a fully government subsidised JobTrainer course. Eligibility criteria applies.

COURSE SUCCESS REQUIREMENTS
During your study, you will need to meet specific requirements necessary for you to complete your coursework.
Your teacher will let you know when you need to provide evidence of:
- Identification documents that add up to 100 points on the day of assessment.

LICENSING REQUIREMENTS
There are legislative and regulatory requirements that apply to this unit of competency. You must complete a High-Risk Work Licence (HRWL) through SafeWork at the completion of this course . You must be at least 18 years of age to be eligible to obtain a HRWL.

IS THIS COURSE RIGHT FOR YOU?
To be prepared for this course, we recommend that you have:
- An interest in warehousing and logistics
- Intermediate level of fitness to manage physical demands like manual handling
- Good eyesight
- Literacy to a Year 10 high school level

Participants MUST provide documents of identity that add up to 100 points on the day of assessment. These documents should be the same documents that you will provide to the Australia Post Customer Service Officer as evidence of identity when you lodge your application. A detailed list of the POI requirements will be made available to the participant upon registration into the course.

The course fee does not include the Application Fee for the high risk licence.

If the participant requires a verbal assessment, this must be specified at the time of registration. An additional feem may be charged.

STUDY COMMITMENT
This is a part time, on campus course. You must attend approximately 12 hours of class. You may also be required to complete approximately 2 hours of additional study. This additional study could include private study, work placements and research.
The course will run 3 days a week for 1 weeks.
