This course meets the industry requirements for game harvesters who harvest wild game animals with or without firearms including possums, camels, horses, deer, feral goats and wild boar, for further processing. It is a course requirement that some skills are demonstrated in an operating game depot or in the field, with a licensed game meat harvester.
There are no information sessions currently scheduled for this course.
This is an online course. You will need to complete approximately 10 hours of online study, each week, for the recommended study period of 12 weeks.
You can increase the hours of online study per week to complete the course sooner.
You can also expect to complete approximately 3 hours of additional study each week outside of class hours, including independent study, research, practice and assignments.

Through work, study and life experience, ideally you will have:
- good digital skills e.g. able to research on the internet, email and take photographs or videos using a mobile device
- good time management and organisational skills required to follow your timetable and manage your study schedule and complete the learning resources and assessments in a timely manner
