Course Details

This course provides you with the skills and knowledge to seek employment in the hairdressing industry. You will gain skills in customer service, basin services, dry hair to shape ans braiding.

Depending on your previous qualifications and experience your fee may decrease from the maximum shown.
Payment by instalment may also be available. Your fee and eligibility for concession/exemption will be calculated and confirmed during the enrolment process.

FULLY GOVERNMENT SUBSIDISED

This course is fully government-subsidised for eligible students, meaning you won't have to pay any course fees. It is part of a program to help people develop the skills they need to get a job, undertake entry level qualifications or transition to a new job.

If you are not eligible for subsidised training, you can still choose to enrol in the course but will need to pay the full (non-subsidised) fee $1910.

INFORMATION SESSION

The Statement of Attainment provides a pathway to work in the hairdressing industry usually in a hairdressing salon or barber shop. You will learn various hairdressing techniques including ,dry hair to shape, long hair upstyles, braiding and greet and prepare clients. Friday 9am-3:30pm starting 26th July for 10 weeks.

You will need to attend approximately 6 hours of class a week over 1 day for 10 weeks. You can expect to do additional work including structured activities off site. An indication of how your weekly timetable may look: Friday 9am-3:30pm
