This course is intended to build on existing knowledge and skills in Adobe Photoshop to extend learners capacity to produce a range of digital outcomes Image optimization and manipulation Digital collage and painting in the context of graphic design process. Variety of styles to diversify practice.
This is a Part Time Day Face to Face course. You will need to attend approximately 5 hours of class, over 1 day a week, for 8 weeks.
You may also be required to complete approximately 4.5 hours of additional study each week outside of class hours, including private study, assignment preparation, and research.

School leavers, small to medium business people, admin staff wanting to manage their brand and digital promotional material. IT industry needing design skills for more professional looking web page layout.
This course is an excellent adjunct and/or pathway to the Diploma and Advanced Diploma of Graphic Design, and offers learning and upskilling in specialist skills to current professionals, as well as students of graphic design.
This course is intended to build on existing knowledge and skills in Adobe Photoshop to extend learner's capacity to produce a range of digital outcomes incorporating image optimisation and manipulation, as well as digital collage and painting, in the context of graphic design process.
You will learn a variety of techniques and styles to diversity your practice that utilise Photoshop, Illustrator and Wacom Tablet.This course if for graduate of graphic design or similar industry areas. You will need to have existing skills in Adobe Creative Suite to undertake this course.

To keep you safe while studying, some of our face to face classes may be replaced with online or connected learning. We have also modified our face to face classes to meet physical distancing requirements and increased cleaning on campus. As restrictions ease, the way you attend your class may change again. If work placement and the demonstration of practical skills are requirements of your course, due to the impacts of COVID 19 there may be a delay or modification in being able to undertake these aspects of your course in the planned timeframe. Be assured, we'll keep you informed every step of the way.
This course is currently scheduled on Saturday from 9.30am to 4.30pm. This timetable may change and will be confirmed by your teacher.
SMART AND SKILLED FEES
This course is government-subsidised, meaning you pay a portion of the full course fee to TAFE NSW and the NSW Government will pay the balance. However, you must meet certain eligibility criteria for this to apply.
Depending on your previous qualifications and experience, your fee may be less than the maximum fee quoted. Your actual fee and eligibility for concession/exemption will be calculated and confirmed during the enrolment process. Payment plans are available through TAFE NSW for Smart and Skilled eligible qualifications.

FULLY GOVERNMENT SUBSIDISED
This course is fully government-subsidised for eligible students, meaning you will not have to pay any course fees. It is part of a program to help people develop the skills they need to get a job, undertake entry level qualifications or transition to a new job.
If you are not eligible for subsidised training, you can still choose to enrol in the course but will need to pay the full (non-subsidised) fee $1300.
