Course Details

This course provides the skills and knowledge to develop writing and social media skills. Skills and knowledge gained suit industries requiring employees conversant with social media platforms used in the workplace and foundation writing skills for work.
There are no entry requirements for this course.
This course will provide you with an understanding and a practical hands on experience of social media tools and applications. You will also learn about the completion of online/computer based simple workplace formatted texts.

There will be an information session on Wednesday 18th September between 1:00pm and 4:00pm. Petersham Campus, 27 Crystal Street Petersham, Room C1.14. For further information please contact the Head Teacher on 9335 2383 or visit Petersham Campus, Room C1.20.

You will need to attend approximately 6 hours of class a week over 8 weeks. An indication of how your weekly timetable may look is: Monday and Wednesday 1.00 - 4.00pm

Depending on your previous qualifications and experience your fee may decrease from the maximum shown.
Payment by instalment may also be available. Your fee and eligibility for concession/exemption will be calculated and confirmed during the enrolment process.


This course is fully government-subsidised for eligible students, meaning you won't have to pay any course fees. It is part of a program to help people develop the skills they need to get a job, undertake entry level qualifications or transition to a new job.

If you are not eligible for subsidised training, you can still choose to enrol in the course but will need to pay the full (non-subsidised) fee $640.
