Do you require practical first aid skills? This course will provide you with up to date first aid procedures. You will learn how to respond in an emergency situation, communicate details of the incident and evaluate your own performance. Once you have successfully completed this course your First Aid skills will be valid for 3 years. However, the CPR component of the course is valid for 12 months and will need to be updated annually for you to keep your certification current.
This is a full time 1 day course. You will need to attend approximately 8 hours of class, over 1 day. As well as the in-class component, you will need to complete approximately 6 hours of other study.
This course requires you to have completed at least 6 hours pre-work using the online First Aid resources and self-assessments prior to the one day face to face work shop.

- are refresher students and those undertaking First Aid training for the first time

The First Aid course is composed of two elements:
- an online study and assessment, which requires at least 6 hours of structured pre-work
- practical workshop, which requires 6 hours of delivery and 2 hours of assessment
Please note: the online study and assessment element must be completed before attending the face-to-face one day practical workshop component.

This course is currently scheduled on Monday, from 8.30am to 5.00pm.
This training is not subsidised by Government funding. There are no fee exemptions, concessions or subsidies available for this course.
Payment of course fee must be made PRIOR to commencement of learning activity.
