Course Details

Do you require practical first aid skills? This course will provide you with up to date first aid procedures. You will learn how to respond in an emergency situation, communicate details of the incident and evaluate your own performance. Once you have successfully completed this course your First Aid skills will be valid for 3 years. However, the CPR component of the course is valid for 12 months and will need to be updated annually for you to keep your certification current.

When you study with TAFE NSW, we want you to succeed. Entry requirements allow us to make sure that you have the right pre-existing knowledge and skills to achieve your chosen qualification. You will need to provide evidence that you meet the requirements listed in this section.

To successfully complete this course, you will need:

  • access to computer and a reliable Internet connection to be able to complete your course work online via student Online Learning Support system (OLS).

STUDY COMMITMENT

This is an online course. You need to complete approximately an hour of online study, each week, for your enrolment duration of 12 weeks.
You can increase the hours of online study per week to complete the course sooner.

As well as the online component, there is a requirement to attend one mandatory practical workshop at TAFE Digital, 51 Wentworth Rd, Strathfield. NSW, 2135.
