Course Details

Be involved, connected, inspired and stay updated by being social on Social Media! Learn how to build your personal brand by being connected to communities, learning environments and workplaces, using Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, WhatsApp, and Twitter.

Sessions include; creating an online presence for personal learning or employment, and using these platforms safely and securely.

With 130 locations across the state, TAFE NSW tailors qualifications to meet the needs of the local community and specific student groups (like apprentices, fast-tracked and online students). To make sure this course is the right fit for you, we may need you to demonstrate that you can meet any additional requirements. In addition to your class time you will be expected to study for at least 10 hours per week outside of class time to support your learning. Those students who wish to study full time, you may also attend the Study Centre to work on your own individual program. The Study Centre is available Monday to Thursday 12:00am-5:00pm and Friday 12:00am- 4:00pm.

As a TAFE NSW student in this course, you will have access to:

  • Easy computing online short courses
  • Access to local TAFE libraries

You will need to attend approximately 7 hours of class a week over 1 day per week. An indication of how your weekly timetable may look is: Tuesday 9.30-2.30pm.

SMART AND SKILLED FEES

This course is government-subsidised, meaning you pay a portion of the full course fee to TAFE NSW and the NSW Government will pay the balance. However, you must meet certain eligibility criteria for this to apply.

Depending on your previous qualifications and experience, your fee may be less than the maximum fee quoted. Your actual fee and eligibility for concession/exemption will be calculated and confirmed during the enrolment process. Payment plans are available through TAFE NSW for Smart and Skilled eligible qualifications.

FULLY GOVERNMENT SUBSIDISED

This course is fully government-subsidised for eligible students, meaning you won't have to pay any course fees. It is part of a program to help people develop the skills they need to get a job, undertake entry level qualifications or transition to a new job. If you are not eligible for subsidised training, you can still choose to enrol in the course but will need to pay the full (non-subsidised) fee$ 640.00
