Demand for animal care workers is booming with growth driven by consumer expectations on how their furry companion should be cared for. These greater expectations is leading to employers to need workers who are qualified and experienced. The animal care field is broad and highly competitive. The course equips you with diverse range of skills to put you ahead of the pack in a skills shortage climate. It is also the official pre-requisite for the Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.

This is an on-campus, part-time day course. You must attend approximately 5 hours of class.
The course will run 1 day a week for 20 weeks.

SMART AND SKILLED FEES
This course is government-subsidised, meaning you pay a portion of the full course fee to TAFE NSW and the NSW Government will pay the balance. However, you must meet certain eligibility criteria for this to apply.
Depending on your previous qualifications and experience, your fee may be less than the maximum fee quoted. Your actual fee and eligibility for concession/exemption will be calculated and confirmed during the enrolment process. Payment plans are available through TAFE NSW for Smart and Skilled eligible qualifications.
