Course Details

This qualification provides a general vocational outcome in landscape construction. The landscaping industry expects this qualification to be achieved to meet job outcomes at this level.

No occupational licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.
There are no entry requirements for this qualification.
To successfully complete this level of qualification, it is recommended that you have completed Year 10 or similar.
The course requires you to be able to calculate quantities using area and volume equations.
You need to have a reasonable level of Language, Literacy and Numeracy skill and knowledge.
You also need to have had at least 4 years experience within the Horticulture/Landscaping Industry.
To successfully complete this qualification you can expect to spend a further 5 hours per week completing unstructured learning in your own time.

This offering is for Non-Apprentices only.

Please attend the grassed area outside of Block D at 6 pm where you will be met by your teacher.
2 evenings per week at 3 hours per evening, face to face learning on campus for 2 years. You will also be required to attend on at least 14 Saturdays throughout your course to participate in organised assessment activities.
