Course Details

This qualification provides a general vocational outcome in landscape construction. The landscaping industry expects this qualification to be achieved to meet job outcomes at this level.

No occupational licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.
There are no entry requirements for this qualification.
Part time evening, you will need to attend approximately 6 hours of class a week over 2 day per week for 2.5 years. Monday and Wednesday, Class times are: 5:30pm - 8:30pm (2 x 3 hour classes).

If you are not an apprentice please see the seperate day or evening offering.

You will need to provide your own Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) for this course, further details will be given on your first day.

Part time day, you will need to attend approximately 7 hours of class a week over 2.5 years. Morning-8:00am-11:30am, lunch 1 hour, Afternoon 12:30pm-4:00pm (2 x 3.5hour classes).

Depending on your previous qualifications and experience your fee may decrease from the maximum shown.
Payment by instalment may also be available. Your fee and eligibility for concession/exemption will be calculated and confirmed during the enrolment process.

SMART AND SKILLED FEES

This course is government-subsidised, meaning you pay a portion (capped at $2,000) of the full course fee to TAFE NSW and the government will pay the balance. However, you must meet certain eligibility criteria for this to apply.

The fee category that will apply to you depends on your eligibility and your individual circumstances. Your fee and eligibility for concession/exemption will be calculated and confirmed during the enrolment process.

You may be eligible for the Fee Free Apprenticeship which will be verified at enrolment.
