The nationally accredited Certificate IV in Agriculture is designed for aspiring farm or station managers who want to be part of leading agricultural operations in a growing industry. INDUSTRY DEMAND
Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing employs approximately 326,200 persons (ABS trend data). Over the past five years, employment in the industry has increased by 1.5 per cent.
The Agriculture industry requires skilled people to contribute to developing more efficient methods of food and fibre production, as the demand to produce more with less land and water resources increases.

STUDY COMMITMENT
This is a full time, on campus course. You must attend approximately 18 hours of class. You may also be required to complete approximately 9 hours of additional study. This additional study could include private study, work placements and research.
The course will run 3 days a week for 36 weeks.

SMART AND SKILLED FEES
This course is government-subsidised, meaning you pay a portion of the full course fee to TAFE NSW and the NSW Government will pay the balance. However, you must meet certain eligibility criteria for this to apply.
Depending on your previous qualifications and experience, your fee may be less than the maximum fee quoted. Your actual fee and eligibility for concession/exemption will be calculated and confirmed during the enrolment process. Payment plans are available through TAFE NSW for Smart and Skilled eligible qualifications.
