This qualification reflects the role of individuals who perform a range of tasks on vehicle bodies in the automotive retail, service and repair industry.

This offering is designed for students looking to enter the Auto body repair industry.
Great introduction to the Automotive Repair and Refinishing Trade. Gain experience and knowledge in basic Automotive Repairs. Course includes theoretical and practical elements. Participants must supply own PPE (gloves, glasses wear appropriate workplace clothing and footwear.) Other work undertaken over the duration of Course negotiated with Section.

A message for young people under 17 years of age-If you are under 17 years and wish to enrol you will need to have completed Year 10 or have special permission from school and TAFE to do so.
Classes are currently scheduled to run on Thursday and Friday 8:30am till 3:30pm for 18 weeks.

Depending on your previous qualifications and experience your fee may decrease from the maximum shown.
Payment by instalment may also be available. Your fee and eligibility for concession/exemption will be calculated and confirmed during the enrolment process.

Costs associated with work experience and field trips such as food, transport and accommodation are at the students own expense.
