This qualification reflects the role of individuals who perform a range of tasks on vehicle bodies in the automotive retail, service and repair industry.

SMART AND SKILLED FEES

This course is government-subsidised, meaning you pay a portion of the full course fee to Sydney TAFE and the government will pay the balance. However, you must meet certain eligibility criteria for this to apply.

ADDITIONAL RESOURCES

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is the responsibility of the student. Minimum PPE requirements before entry into any TAFE workshop environment: Steel capped leather upper boots.
Drill cotton trousers and drill cotton long sleeved work shirt or drill cotton overalls. Approved safety glasses. Additional safety gear will be required according to the tasks performed.
This information will be provided by your class teacher on your first day of attendance.

This course is designed for those wishing to enter the automotive and marine trimming industry. Attendance on campus 4 hrs per week. Classes are on a Monday evening (5:30pm - 9:30pm).
