This qualification reflects the role of individuals who perform a range of tasks on vehicle bodies in the automotive retail, service and repair industry.
No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.

Location: Glendale Campus, Building H, Ground Level, Room 4
This is a part-time evening course. You will need to attend approximately 21 hours of class, over 2 days a week, for 16 weeks.
You may also be required to complete approximately 17.8 hours of additional study each week outside of class hours, including research, revision and unsupervised practical activities.

This course is currently scheduled on Thursday and Friday from 8.00am to 4.30pm.
SMART AND SKILLED FEES
This course is government-subsidised, meaning you pay a portion of the full course fee to TAFE NSW and the NSW Government will pay the balance. However, you must meet certain eligibility criteria for this to apply.
Depending on your previous qualifications and experience, your fee may be less than the maximum fee quoted. Your actual fee and eligibility for concession/exemption will be calculated and confirmed during the enrolment process. Payment plans are available through TAFE NSW for Smart and Skilled eligible qualifications.

You will need to provide for yourself the following resources which you will keep when you complete your study:
- Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) including steel toed boots, safety glasses, cotton drill pants and shirt: approximately $250.00.
- Students will also need to provide an A4 folder and pen.
