STUDY COMMITMENT
This is a full-time, face to face course. You will need to attend approximately 15 hours of class, over 2.5 days a week, for 18 weeks. As well as the in-class component, you will need to complete approximately 4 hours of other study per week.
You may also be required to complete approximately 4 hours of additional study each week outside of class hours, including students will be able to access links to online videos, tutorials, professional articles and reading materials for their self-paced unstructured learning, independent study/revision or skills practice outside of the timetabled classes.
IS THIS COURSE RIGHT FOR YOU?
The target student group generally enrol in this course to learn hands-on computing, administration and communication skills in order to prepare them for study in business administration at higher levels. It can also be a step towards gaining employment in a junior office role. Typically, the target student group are new to the business administration/office support industry sector, and they enter the course with some very basic administration, computing and communication skills, gained as a result of their life experience where they have learned to operate in an increasingly technologically savvy world and have needed to develop the skills required to interact using these technologies as a part of day-to-day life.

This course is currently scheduled on Tuesday, from 9.00am to 12.00pm, Wednesday and Thursday from 9.00am to 3.30pm. This timetable may change and will be confirmed by your teacher.
SMART AND SKILLED FEES
This course is government-subsidised, meaning you pay a portion of the full course fee to TAFE NSW and the NSW Government will pay the balance. However, you must meet certain eligibility criteria for this to apply.
Depending on your previous qualifications and experience, your fee may be less than the maximum fee quoted. Your actual fee and eligibility for concession/exemption will be calculated and confirmed during the enrolment process. Payment plans are available through TAFE NSW for Smart and Skilled eligible qualifications.

A fee applies for most TAFE NSW courses and must be paid when you enrol. The amount you pay depends on the type of course you study, and on your personal circumstances. An initial payment of $80 is required to confirm your enrolment into this course. If you do not wish to continue with your enrolment, you must formally advise Customer Service of your withdrawal.
