In every office, in every industry, there is high demand for qualified and skilled office support staff. General clerks represent the second largest occupation in Australia and this is expected to increase by 14% by 2024/25. Be a part of this growth industry when you study the Certificate III in Business.
This is a part time, face to face course. You will need to attend approximately 10 hours of class, over 2 days a week, for 36 weeks.
You may also be required to complete approximately 3.5 hours of additional study each week outside of class hours, including independent study, research, practice and assignments.
This course is offered for a full year. Note: Second semester attendance will be: Monday 9:00am to 4:30pm and Thursday from 1:30pm to 5:00pm.

This course offering is designed for people who have not previously been employed or may be looking to re-enter the workforce and/or do not possess current computing, communication or office skills required to apply for a position in an office environment.

This course is currently scheduled on Tuesday from 9:00am to 4:30pm and Thursday from 9:00am to 12:30pm. This timetable may change and will be confirmed by your teacher.
SMART AND SKILLED FEES
This course is government-subsidised, meaning you pay a portion of the full course fee to TAFE NSW and the NSW Government will pay the balance. However, you must meet certain eligibility criteria for this to apply.
Depending on your previous qualifications and experience, your fee may be less than the maximum fee quoted. Your actual fee and eligibility for concession/exemption will be calculated and confirmed during the enrolment process. Payment plans are available through TAFE NSW for Smart and Skilled eligible qualifications.
